That would have to be plasma pistol glow. I’ve been filming these shots in a game variant that only uses grenades and equips the characters with plasma pistols, no weapons on the map.

Yeah, it’ll probably bounce back and forth between the Gloomy/Old Timey and Gloomy filters for a bit, as I go between flashback narrative and flashback re-enactment. Just a little artistic flare to hopefully keep things interesting.

Oh, and I like the return of colour. The last few ones were good in a sepia way, but nothing beats faded-to-almost-but-not-quite-black colour.

Really? So where did the white streaks come from? I’ve never seen them anywhere other than when spike ‘nades explode.

As for the trip mine, when you mention it, you can just see a tiny bit of muzzle flash left over from the shot. Or is that just me? Or the plasma pistol glow?

re: Shu Sam Chen – It actually always has been a MWF schedule. I think the period time lapses between updates, though, might obscure that from time to time.

And believe it not, there’s not a single spike in that shot. There are, however, two fusion cores, a trip mine, and a plasma grenade. :)
