49 Resplendent Legacy
The Gloomy and Juicy filters paired together produce some absolutely vibrant and gorgeous colors on Avalanche, particularly in the chasm room. I really like the way today’s comic turned out and wish there was some way to use the filters on all the other maps.

Todash? Has someone been reading The Dark Tower books again?

Do I need to change the name on the wallpaper? Or will they all look the same?

re: John Kenyon – Heh, I commented when I first started Reclaimer that I would likely end up fitting a handful of Dark Tower references into the comic, partly to pay homage to Stephen King and partly to pay homage to Tied the Leader. :)
re: Shu Sam Chen (HSAR) – It’s entirely up to you. I haven’t decided yet whether all the AI are going to look the same.

I’ll wait then. Do I need to start photobucketing the wallpapers for download?

those are cool filters, i hate playing them, but you have done a really good job with the graphics this time! props

Now the series is starting to get moving! I really enjoyed this one, it seems that there was a good deal of build up, and soon Reclaimer is gonna get into a lot of trouble.
He’s gonna leave some place looking like Tull.

re: Bearded Phantom – Yeah, I like playing using the Juicy filter, but the primary purpose of the filters was a little gift from Bungie for machinima makers (that also serves a benefit to me) to create some interesting effects natively to the game engine.
re: Stuicide – Yeah, it helps that I’ve finally managed to get off my backside and get back into the storyline. I figure it’s about time to give a few reveals before my readers form a mob and attack.
The Reclaimer is a true gunslinger. I suspect there may be more than one Tull Event before things are over.

Tull event?
You’ve lost me.
Juicy Filter FTW!

re: Shu Sam Chen (HSAR) – I gather you’ve never read Stephen King’s Dark Tower series? The first book, The Gunslinger, details a catastrophe in the little desert town of Tull. It’s a reference to that. :)

Ah. I thought you were referencing TTL Gunslingers…
No. Unfortunately not. I’ve been trying hard to find good fantasy books recently – thanks!

And the way the text boxes change color when you roll over it is cool, but the brown colour is too dark. (two spellings of color/colour deliberate)

re: Shu Sam Chen (HSAR) – Yeah, the DT series is actually a mixture of science fiction and fantasy. It’s very awesome. :)
Good eye. I hadn’t spotted that little issue yet – but then again, I rarely ever actually go out to the comments pages. :)

OK, just for clarification, we’re back in the present now? It’s just that there are two instances where Reclaimer jumps off a ledge.

re: Rosco-128 – Heh, that’s true, isn’t it? Yes, we’re back in the present. :)
May 31st, 2008 at 2:58 am
Ah, yes. He jumped into the waterfall, right?

re: Shu Sam Chen (HSAR) – That’s the one. :)

LOL I <3 the Dark Tower books. Best series ever, IMO. Good work, keep it up!

re: NiTrOuS 343 – Definitely one of my favorite series. Thanks for the kudos!
