Underneath every comic and every blog entry, you’ll see a little icon called ‘Share This.’ If you click on that, a little AJAX-powered window opens with a wide variety of social bookmarking options. If you enjoy Reclaimer and would like to help expand its readership, I would be most appreciative if you would make use, especially, of the Digg link. I don’t really expect to compete with the vast majority of other webcomics out there, since Halo is a rather niche genre, but every little bit helps, and I’d love to see Reclaimer’s readership break out of and expand beyond just the Halo fanbase. There are also other options available to add various Reclaimer comics as del.icio.us bookmarks, Google Reader items, and more. Please feel free to make use of Share This, as it’s a utility specifically designed for you, the reader, to make it easier to enjoy Reclaimer and share it with others.

Suggestion: Since your story is rather serial, and some might be new since we’re going to be trying to promote it so much, you might consider adding a “first” link on your comic navigation so people can quickly go back to the beginning and try to catch up.

re: SeismicMike – Well, the way the ComicPress theme is built, the ‘First’ and ‘Last’ links appear only on the front page. I’ll look into modifying Tyler’s code to place those links on the single comic pages, as well.

Testing it out, the email works fine. I got the test invite I sent to myself. A little unconventional, perhaps, but it works all the same.

re: Shu Sam Chen (HSAR) – Cool. Share This is intended to be a one-stop spot for social bookmarking and sharing. It also has the advantage of providing a lot of power without cluttering up the overall design.
