   In the middle left frame the Reclaimer says “you” instead of “your”.

   The font looks a little odd for the Reclaimer – it’s a little too informal.

   Loving the atmosphere, the sense of iciness.

   I think you should find a way to impart a “eye” to the AI, something subtle. Its a little odd to think of a Forerunner’s AI without some sort of “eye”. Not sure how to do it though… Maybe float a plasma grenade in front of it, using Forge of course.
   Just a suggestion.

   That particular unit of the Cavalcade just sounded more like 343 at the last line than any of the other ones. Creepy :P

   Glad you like the atmosphere, as well.  I’m never entirely sure how readers will perceive things as I’m writing them.  :)

   re: John Kenyon – Well, you have to remember that the Cavalcade AIs are not Halo Monitors.  I’m deliberately trying to avoid associating the Cavalcade with that type of AI, hence my use of custom powerups (in this case) to represent these constructs.  I want to keep them somewhat disembodied, since they were designed to dwell inside expansive computer matrices.

   re: ArK – Hehe, it does make you almost question whether or not the Cavalcade has a hidden agenda, doesn’t it?  ;-)

   Reclaimer must have been drinking. Shu Sam Chen already mentioned saying ‘you’ instead of ‘your’, but did anyone notice that he said ‘as though’ twice in the bottom left frame?

   re: SeismicMike – Yeah, I haven’t had a chance to get back and patch that one yet.  I was fighting with Photoshop CS3 that night and forgot to take time to proofcheck things.  :-/
