Parking and Fileshare

Some of you may have noticed that Reclaimer went offline for a brief period of time last night. I won’t say much as to the actions of our hero, but his Daddy (and by this, I mean, GoDaddy) decided to take some action. There was some transferring of domains, some unexpected parking, and a subsequent early morning scramble to sort things out and get them back on track. Everything is back in place now, and most people in the world should be able to see Reclaimer again. The rest who can’t – just wait a little while as DNS entries populate across the web again, and you should be in good shape, too.

Today’s installment of Reclaimer almost didn’t get made on time. There was a brief period of time where screenshots and Fileshares were unavailable. There was some speculation on the HBO forums that Bungie took them offline in an effort to shore up some things from hackers/modders, but this is so far an unconfirmed report. Either way, screenshots and Fileshares came back online with enough time for me to get today’s issue of Reclaimer out on time (just in time for the DNS issues to kick in). That’s a wee bit more excitement in a 24-hour period than I typically like.
