Oooo very nice. I just got onto your site and I’m really liking it so far. I’ve read from the start and I think its awesome how you have developed your comic.
I’m guessing Ferial definitely has something hidden up his sleeve (or gauntlet). But what? Can’t wait for your next comic.

re: Spartana – Hey, glad you found Reclaimer and are enjoying it so far. :) And oh yes – Ferial definitely has a few cards up his sleeve yet. The time hasn’t come for him to play them yet, though.

you know I was curious about the shield doors, at first i thought they were meant to keep Ferial out…but now I see the truth….poor poor Chaos… =/

re: mendicantbias00 – Heh, yeah. Originally, I’d written it from the outset to indicate that Ferial had contained Chaos with the dampening fields, but then I worked some revisions in that prolonged the reveal. So for those of you keeping count, that’s two constructs that Ferial has managed to contain – which means that the Reclaimer has his work cut out for him.

Is the cavalcave a hive type collective where seperating one or more parts of the whole decreases the intelligence of the whole? Does each member of the cavalcave have a different “specialty” as to what it “researches” and then passes this knowledge to the rest of the group?

And what are we supposed to think of Ferial transforming from a Spartan? Did he plant the AI that’s taking over the base, is Chaos the AI, or is it this older AI?

I get the feeling that Ferial is not as good as he appears to be – that or he’s getting a lot of outside help.

re: Taterific – I love these questions! These are exactly some of the questions that will have answers as the story progresses! I’m glad you’re considering them, because they’re pretty important. :)
I will say that the seven constructs that make up the Cavalcade are seven completely independent entities – but that they also know how to work and interface with one another extremely efficiently. I also think it’s safe to say that each one has its own specialty but that you’ll have to wait a little while to find out what that means. :) Good stuff! Keep it coming!
re: Matoro3311 – Well, just because the Cavalcade’s at a bit of a disadvantage right now doesn’t mean that they intend to take it lying down. :)
re: Shu Sam Chen (HSAR) – Go back to last week and see Visual Echoes, last panel. One of Viper’s number morphs into Ferial. I’ll leave you to guess what that means – for now. :)
Ferial is an… interesting character, to say the least. ;-)

First: OMG when is this conversation going to end…it feels like “we” have been over-expaining the same converstation forever!!
Second: What kind of ai are the cavalcade? are they machines or some type of data only ai’s? obviously they have an actual physical form if they can be contained inside a couple of barriers…but they were still able to communicate? if ferial had devised some super awesome plan to trap the cavalcade why would he have the foresight to cut off their transmissions from the outside world

They just keep getting better. Are you sure you havent read Lucifer? Ferial seems a lot like him. I just cant wait to see what happens next. I hope eventually the Cavalcade team up to form a mega AI, kinda like how the power rangers used to do.

re: PikminGod – Ferial has contained two of the Cavalcade’s number using two different methods. I haven’t revealed the ‘how’ yet, but it’ll get some coverage at some point.

PikminGod: The AI are only pictured as balls of light for visual purposes. It is likely that Ferial has also installed firewalls and virtual security.
AI in the Reclaimerverse are data, however they are extremely adaptable (at least, these guys are), and seem to be able to operate in any system.

As to the avatar, I’ve pretty much always used a photograph of myself for my avatar, but a few weeks back I decided to try to render said photograph as a cartoon sketch; hence, the avatar you now see as my online representation. :)

I just got caught up with the comic and I have to say its one of the best I’ve read. Its a nice refresher from the ‘comedy’ comics, and I am very interested in what Ferial has up his sleeve. I wonder how Ferial could keep the Viper unit from exploring the land and finding the base that houses Chaos. Maybe that’s what he means in the last panel; perhaps a viper soldier wil happen upon Chaos. Once he’s freed, Chaos could use the viper as a host to get revenge on Ferial..

re: Mysterioso2006 – It looks fine to me, dude. :) It always takes a few minutes when you first select your Gravatar for it to populate across the sites that use it. It’s showing up in my Admin dashboard. Give it a few more minutes to show up on the site, as well.
Ah, I figured it out. You set your Gravatar with an ‘R’-rating, so it wasn’t showing up properly. I adjusted the site settings to display a higher-level Gravatar. I’ll keep it like this for the time being.

re: Mysterioso2006 – I’d rather keep that sort of thing away from Reclaimer. I don’t care if you have a critique or something about Reclaimer itself, but I don’t really see the point in griping about Bungie/Microsoft/the government, etc. There are other forums and venues out there for that sort of thing. :)

hey um so are you takeing screen shots then editing them to look like a comic if so you shuld try this on local press and hold rb + lb a down od d pad and press the left anologue stick makes weapons lower you probably knew this though

re: delta – Yup, I pretty much do this with every comic now (that doesn’t involve weapons fire). Some of the earlier comics I wasn’t doing this because I didn’t know how, but it definitely helps the atmosphere of certain pages when the characters aren’t pointing guns in each others’ faces. :)

I know you’re limited by the number of mpas and the map styles to fit the comic, but are Chaos and Ferial in the same place as Team Viper?
If yes then I’m left wondering is it Chaos or Ferial messing with slipspace array (episodes 56 & 7)?
If no then is that story paving the way for a another constuct, or could Archimedes be the key to unlocking the constructs and defeating Ferial (In which case I predict an epic Reclaimer vs Viper battle to get Archimedes, laeding to another epic battle with Ferial)
Final point, a random theory? Or could he be another, more powerful constuct outside the Calcavade?
I know this has been a really long comment/questioning but this is all the stuff I’ve been thinking about after reading the whole series
Also I might have repeated other people’s questions but I haven’t read all the comments, I’ve been busy last week or so

I found a link to your site on Bungie, and I have read all of the graphic novel published so far from the beginning.
I enjoy the style of the art and the story. It is refreshing that your story has diverged from the Haloverse that we all know and love. I wonder if the Flood will ever make an appearance.
