Yay, if the Reticent Mystery is a physic being, as in being able to shoot bullets, then RC should have a greater edge over his next adversary. Nice work Jim!

Good thing for Reclaimer. I am sure that too much talking to”yourself” isn’t healthy. That and too many voices in your head probably isnt such a good idea either. =)

Look on the 3rd frame, on the left, near the middle! It shows more when you have “Poster Edges” on! It shows so well I may almost christen it a Reclaimer easter egg!!! Almost…

Jim, are we supposed to wonder if Ferial is an Elite of the Covenant or something in the form of an elite simliarly as to how Reticent Mystery is a Spartan?
I know the Covenant has a different relationship in this universe as opposed to the halo universe. What is that relationship?

Finaly!Halleluha!Answers!I like answers.This new cavalcade member is probably tagging along(notice the color similarities?).So MC was actually MC?Was he controled by Ferial?Im once again confused.
And adding on to Taterific,Ferial may be like,some sort of rebel cavalcade member.And to show so,he manifested an elite form,instead of a spartan.

I know it’s the plot that’s important, and I’m sure you know exactly what you’re doing, but in my opinion, sometimes I look at the angles you’ve chosen and I think they could be better, use the zoom tool if you’re trying to get multiple targets in one capture.

re: Taterific – Basically, humanity and the Covenant are at an uneasy peace. The war ended before it really got started, the Hierarchs do not hold the ironclad control they do in the Haloverse, and the Halo network is considered to be neutral ground between the opposing factions. Essentially, the uprising of the Flood has caused the Covenant to abandon their quest to annihilate humanity and now work with humanity to put down that threat (the Flood in the Reclaimerverse are more pervasive and devastating than they are in the Haloverse).

re: mysterioso2006 – No, the MC was a programmed overlay on Reticent Mystery’s own physical logarithms. Once the computers were destroyed, then that overlay was destroyed, as well.
re: PJMack – Are you talking about the second panel? And you might be surprised how difficult it is to catch decent angles trapped in a small room like that one. Now, every shot captured for today’s page is pretty much exactly the way I planned them beforehand. I intended for Reticent Mystery to be speaking from off-stage, so to speak, initially and to better segue into the fact that its armor color was different than that of the false MC’s.

Sounds more like Ferial is the AI that came before the Calvacade. That would by why the Calvacade are susceptible to his attacks.

@jim=thx,that made things more clear.It seemed like a spartan lasting to roughly 80 years old was unlikely.
@Bearded Phantom=That makes sense,considering his knoledge and expertise.And the calvacade may do that.Dont they have some sort of link between them?

Just surmising that its possible that the gravemind is also able to manifest itself in different forms also, similar to the AI’s. A gravemind has an extreme depth of knowledge and cunning so one never knows.

@mysterioso2006 Well Jim has told us that the calvacade were more powerful when they all were joined together. I am looking forward to what kind of powers they will have or gain as they gain more members.
@Jim Where did the Calvacade come from? Forerunner designed and made?

As to the people who theorise that the RC will have a sidekick, I find that unlikely.
There must be a maximum range for that mass/matter projector to simulate a real person.

so we know the cavalcade members can rise out of a need for new ones, like the ones that arose from thier old scrap pile…i thnk ferial came after the cavalcade was locked down by the forerunner and a need for a greater power to control all…perhaps? maybe?

re: Distefant – True. I’m sure we never really did see Gravemind’s full capabilities in either Halo 2 or 3, but it did seem to take on pretty much just the one physical form. Oh, to have a peek at the Bungie Story Bible.
re: Bearded Phantom – Yeah, if you look back in the comic archives where the Reclaimer first met Legacy, you’ll note that Legacy mentions that the Cavalcade was created by the Forerunners.
re: Shu Sam Chen (HSAR) – Yeah, I noticed that you were strangely absent, since you’re typically one of the first people to comment. As for your question, each of the Cavalcade have different programming and capabilities.
