hahaha! reminds me of tim taylor, “I know what i am doing!” ZAP! “Oops, that wasn’t supposed to do that…”
hmm i wonder what this button does… OOPS!
something tells me reclaimer is going to be rather annoyed at said cavalcada
Jim, don’t you ever run out of twists? One day you gonna write yourself into a whole… and we’ll all cry.
Looks like someone is running Vista!!
If there ever was a “WOE” moment, this is it. Now what???
Wow. I have followed this from the start and every single new section just amazes me more and more… Keep up the amazing work!
I forsee that ferial is somewhere nearby, and that the supposed ‘insane’ calvacada has done something to cause this unexpected shutdown…
Good plot Jim, loving the story, sounds like the calvacada is going to have to chew crow.
Oh Grammar thought, “I am willing to help you, but only if (you?) actually work with me…”
Thecheez94: I write myself into corners all the time. Half the fun of writing Reclaimer is finding a way to write myself back out of those corners.
Ebil… pure ebil..
Almost every MWF I yell from my cubicle WTF in a joyous way. Love your work…
Thank you…
Reclaimer Jr: Haha, just don’t blame me if you get fired for disrupting the workplace.
You know, I was almost expecting Lamarr to be jumping around in the background.
Shu Sam Chen (HSAR): Who?
Jim, I hate to do it, but are you sire it’s spelled Irrepairable? I thought you omitted the I to make it irreparable… and it seems Firefox’s spell-checker agrees with me. Also, nice nod to 343 Guilty Spark in the last panel!
This is getting a little rediculous, you managed to fit, what, five-six plot twists in just 5 comics.
Comic 108-9 (I forget): Viper/creepy possesed guy let Reclaimer escape.
Comic 111: Two Ferials, big surpise there (good luck explaining that one)
Comic 112: One calvacada is compleatly insane.
Comic 113: Reclaimer gets to put the insane calvacada in his brain.
Comic 114: Reclaimer will be unable to move during the process.
Comic 115: Somthing whent wrong during the process.
This doesn’t seem physically possible. I congradulate you Jim on your genious.
One last note, what is the difference between calvacada and calvacade. I had always assumed that calvacada was singular but I wish to make sure.
Sangheilioz: No, you’re right. It was kind of late last night when I was putting this one together, so obviously a couple of things slipped under my radar. I have to go do some validation stuff for our new data mainframe on another part of campus, but once I get back, I’ll fix those couple of items and put up the revised version.
Lucas: You’ll find that I usually like to put a plot twist in to every single comic, as much as I can. I’m a BIG fan of the cliffhanger, so I like to leave readers hanging after each installment.
And you would be correct – Cavalcada is the singular to Cavalcade’s plural.
Thanks for clearing that up Jim. On a different note, how do you plan to make more colors for tha calvacade with only three powerups?
If you place a weaon holder, it can hold multiple powerups in the same position so you can place an onershield and an active camo in the weaponholder to create purple and so on. When your done you can deleate the weapon holder and the two powerups will remain. This is meerly an idea but If it helps, I’ll be happy.
I hate to break it to you, Lucas, but others have already beaten you to that (not me, though). Still, it is an interesting concept, eh Jim?
In reply to your response to Shu Sam Chen (HSAR)s comment about Lamarr, it was a supposedly tame pet head crab that caused havoc in the half life game. You could say it sent you on a scenic journey during your ride in the teleporter.
Your comics are truely mind blowingly cool Jim.
“That was not supposed to happen,”; not something you want to hear someone say. Great comic! Really, words can’t describe how much I enjoy your story telling.
@Jim: You’ve played Half-Life 2, right? Lamarr is this headcrab that smashes up some teleportation equipment and sends you to these random places. Then you have to walk to your destination.
Lucas: Ah, the weapon holder was the element I’d been missing. I’ll take another pass at that.
Shu Sam Chen (HSAR): Sadly, I have not. I keep eyeing The Orange Box, but I haven’t had the discretionary funds to buy it yet. Soon as I do, though, I’ll be all over that action.
And thanks for the kind comment, y’all. Your enthusiasm is the thing that keeps me going.
o jim ur so silly…now is the perfect time to invent time travel so i can go 2 days in the future to see what happened…
o but one question…how come last comic it was all “We are going to transfer slow this time and come in pieces”, but now their all like “15 mike mikes tops, humans are so slow, this could be insintaneous.” or did i read something wrong?
PikminGod: Ok, first of all – mike mikes?! Bizarre.
Second – last time the process of adding an AI to the Reclaimer neural lace was instantaneous – and extremely painful – but there was only one new AI being added. This time, there are two new AIs, one of which is suffering some serious issues, and the installation’s network is already being bogged down by whatever’s going on in the array. So yeah, it’s going to take longer compared to the previous merger, it’ll hurt the Reclaimer less, but in terms of time and defensibility, it’s going to seem like an eternity. It’s all a matter of perspective.
sorry…i was at work messing around on the radio all day, so mike mikes just came home with me i guess, over.
Oh noes where are teh recliamressss!!!!111!!!one11!!
I Dont Care What You Say I Can Spell Perfectly…
@Giddings: But you use too many capitol letters.
ha ha orange box is good just as a kick in the nuts im going to be a store manager soon erning £6 an hour and im only 17 MA HA HA HA HA
Giddings: Writing with all proper nouns is a bit like the boy who cried wolf. Bet you didn’t know that, did you?
paul: Um…. yay?
@Jim: Well, the Orange Box is pretty cool. I’d just get Half-Life 2 for computer, though. It’s cheaper.
PS. You should make a spoiler hider for this site. Forget I said anything about Lamarr.
hello?
Shu Sam Chen (HSAR): Well, there’s a couple of different WordPress plugins for creating spoiler blinds in the body of a post itself. I don’t see one for creating them in comments – and I’m not quite PHP-savvy enough to write such a plugin.
nevets 91: Yes, hi. We see you. Now what seems to be the problem?
For PC users: “Windows will now restart in safe mode.”
For Mac users: No, that little rainbow-colored wheel will not stop spinning.
