Hmm I am a little confused with the timing of this conversation.
Is it just before the Reclaimer went fzzhzap (as he was talking to the calvacada), or after?
OR is it going to be revealed soon in a wonderful Reclaimer comic?
Love the cliffhanger jim, i for one like the dialog, it seems rather real to life. I sense a real close call coming up, or a conversation with the non-infected Viper
It would be interesting if the virus could infect spartan O.S’es and alter their perception(s) somehow .. That could make for a powerfull weapon of sorts
PikminGod: Atrocious, huh? Well, no offense, man, but I tend to take most of your ‘critiques’ with a grain of salt since you tend to run toward the negative with most of your comments. Not a complaint, mind you, just an observations. I do enjoy your feedback, even when it occasionally makes me want to claw my own eyes out. Hehehe….
Giddings: They were aware of the virus back when it commandeered the array and usurped control of the network. So no, they’re not part of it.
the silver fox: Quite possibly. I almost made a comment to that effect in the original post but decided to refrain and see if anyone else picked up on that.
Bearded Phantom: Thanks, man. It was hard to compact the amount of info into one comic that I wanted to convey. I really didn’t want to have to break it up into two pages.
DeepCee: This is the squad captain. Too bad he’s only got one remaining soldier in his squad.
Ironic how they’re drawing from multiple systems to avoid being caught, and it’s the very thing that has exposed them. Irony is a powerful tool, and a good friend of mine.
Hey I got a question in comic 114 your chest armor on the reclaimer changed to and EOD chest plate then back to the ninja armor. Did you just do this on accident or what?
the silver fox: Actually, if they only did one packet at a time, one system at a time, then chances are that they wouldn’t have alerted Viper at all, since they would be doing the same thing they are now, just in several systems at once. However, this probably would have taken MUCH longer than the 15 minutes the Cavalcada projected before.
Not to appear picky but I have to agree with Pickmin God. The writting doesn’t settle with me. It does a good job of portraying the situation but it’s a little unlike the speach of a human.
I think this may be because you are used to writing human-computer or human-alien dialog. The guy on the computer acts like one and the Squad Commander is about as sharp as a bowling ball.
None the less, I appluad yet another sucessful comic.
The fun part about reading these comics is putting the emotion and passion into the reading as I go. I am sure the lines spoken could sound like a monologue computer output, but a real human would convey this information just with the ebb and flow of pitch, timber, and timings.
Great comic, as usual, but I must say, the title seems to be a very clever halo reference.
EWWWWW
sorry jim…your comics have been awesome of recent, but the dialog in this one is atrocious…

They knew about the virus… maybe they were a part of it perhaps maybe sorta kinda?
Wow…are these two the only Vipers who haven’t been infected?

Now is that the commanding officer or Ferial in camo again? Or…The other twin?
O_O
I liked it

NMJ Chillin…...
TrAvIs 6t6: Hehe, you noticed that, did you?

Spartana: Wait for Friday…

Danthaman aka AXel wiresmith: Yeah, it could. Kind of like a hyper-reality or some-such thing.
HEY JIM! I’ve really been trying not to be “Complainer guy is Complaining” just know i luv RC and you…but mainly RC
Strange as it sounds, its actually good to see these two again. I just hope they end up being helpful rather than another obstacle for the Reclaimer.
I just figured out what you ment by both ferials being the same guy.
They’re infected. dun dun daaaa
Yah, Reclaimer is screwed.
It was kinda mean in the last comic for the Cavalcade dudes to just start lacing with him without any warning.

@ Sangheilioz: I don’t think they could have avoided it, as drawing all the power from one single system would also likely have alerted Viper.
