Wait, Archimedes is its own lever?

Imagin that, a button that pushes itself.

Hmm, I really enjoy reading this comic and all of its little twists and plot turns. Especially the code-naming of charachters to give their name a double meaning.

The whole thing of Archimedes = a powerful, powerful force that has no mind of its own, but can do more than any one man ever can, I love that! it's just great!

I'm gonna take a guess and say that everything comes down to who controls the lever and fulcrum of Archimedes, and that the Clavacade are the fulcrum, where Archimedes is the lever. What could it be moving so far....

I personally love the whole "remember that thing from really far back that seemed important but kind of fell by the wayside and you all probably forgot about? Yeah, that's kind of important now..." plot device. Keeps you on your toes, while also making you want to smack your forehead and say "OH YEAH!"

mysterioso2006: I haven't put more emphasis on Archimedes up to this point primarily because Archimedes is a rather benign entity. It's passive until acted upon, and since no one has issued it a command yet (Viper hasn't even gotten around to that), it just sits in place. There's really not much story there, as a result.

I wish you could have put more emphasis on Archimedes. It now seems rather important.

Could this be a Precursor? They were able to accelerate evolution. Archimedes could be a Forerunner, controlled by Precursor.

Archimedes absolutely loves circles. He probably could lever the world with this device. *hint, hint, nudge, nudge*

As for those who think this is the Gravemind, it cannot be, since Gravemind speaks in pure iambic heptameter.

Good story so far. Maybe I am wrong with my theory? :\
Wikipedia rocks.
