Part Three of Reclaimer – Mythic Edition. I love the colors in this section of Assembly. They’re so rich and vibrant.
Today is Day Two in the Mythic Edition of Reclaimer – and we learn something of Ferial’s multiplicity.
One of the things that I love about Bungie is the level of their involvement with their fanbase. It’s amazing to me, in particular, how far they go to provide special treats for the Halo community. On Friday, I was one of the privileged few to receive a code to download the Mythic Map Pack early. urk gave me a heads-up on Wednesday that such a thing might happen, and so I changed my plans a bit on how to immediately work the new maps into the Reclaimer storyline.
As a thank-you to Bungie (especially Brian and Luke – and urk as messenger boy) and as a special treat to my readers, between now and March 3, when the Mythic Map Pack becomes available (in the US) via Halo Wars Limited Edition, I will be running one new comic a day as a way to give you all a special sneak preview of the new maps. In the process, you’re about to receive some new revelations from the Reclaimer storyline. (And as an aside, if you haven’t read down through the comments on Friday’s comment, you might want to do that now.)
So, sit back and enjoy this special run of Reclaimer. It’s going to be a fun and interesting week.
You know you’re a Halo 3 webcomics creator when the first thought in your head after seeing the upcoming new map Sandbox is what evil ways it can be used to create new settings for your comic. If you haven’t seen it already, make sure to head over to the TTL blog, where fellow Gunslinger and gamerblogger XerxdeeJ has drafted an article previewing Sandbox at Bungie’s press event last week. If this doesn’t get you excited about the Mythic Map pack, nothing will!
