This is true, however I'm still thinking it's Archimedes'... hear me out.
Sangheili voices that are muffled and indistinct? Sounds like the Ferials "planting" Archimedes for Viper to dig up. The matrix the speaker is in shifts, and it moves with it? perhaps the skull being picked up. The fact the speaker feels as though it had had a physical form, but cannot remember points to its being inside a skull, which would have once been part of a "physical form".
My other thought is that it's the Cavalcada at Isolation (having trouble remembering the name). "waking up", then this delirium may be the result of Ferial's little buffer manipulation bogging him down. However, the "rendered form" that is human wouldn't be his, so that throws me back toward Archimedes.
Damn, I haven't got a damn clue about what this is. I'm going to guess at a Cavalcade member, due to the colour of the font.
Also what map was this from. I'm guessing Cold Storage.
It's from Cold Storage, but don't let that color your thoughts on where this is taking place. In case you hadn't noticed, I like to mix and match parts of various maps into a whole new, single location.
But it may also possibly be the Calvacada at isolation. It might be the calvacada because he was captured by Ferial and placed there. And Viper actually said that when they woke the Calvacada member up, because it began attacking them. Those explosions could be when RC blew up the "trap" surrounding him. But I don't think it is because that theory has everything arranged in the right order. So back to the drawing board
Wow, I had no idea this would be so confusing. I thought for sure I provided enough clues in this one to make it clear who's speaking. Shows what I know.
Nah he used Cold storage as a base for Ferial at one stage. It looks like a mancannon chute from somewhere. Could be anywhere but. It's not very detailed.
OMG!! We're all idiots! How can it be Archimedes! Read the text again! It says Viper… ARCHIMEDES! WHY THE HELL WOULD IT BE TALKING ABOUT ITSELF IN THE THIRD PERSON!
Jim is saying the calvacada. Everyone at first who said that he gave points, and he said it wasn't Archimedes. And it suddenly makes sense. Ferial, (sanghelli) captured him, long time of nothing (being in a hibernation state for several millenniums), and then Viper partially waking it up to steal Archimedes. I can't figure out the rest and it is absolutely, definitely 100% Calvacada. No doubt Can;t figure out the rest but I'm sure it will become clear soon
We can't lie, we don't even know how Oh and I was right below? HELL YEAH! Though this wasn't really a theory now was it? You figured we would have guessed it easier didn't you?
OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So THAT's where the other three unifected Vipers are! They were the ones who got captured! Wow, that was amost too far back to remember!
HOLY ****, MOTHER******! Sorry, are you serious? OMG! How the hell did you expect us to get it? I mean come on, that was like the 5th comic or something! So the virus couldn't infect all the Vipers because three were zapped away by the unnamed calvacada! OMG! So, is he stored somewhere, like electronically? In a computer? But it suddenly makes sense! He woke up, and Ferial was talking to the Calvacada. He was inside something, and his instinct told him that he still had a body, but he didn't. He found himself shifted into a computer or something like that (the matrix thing sounds like a computers memory or something) and then his memory suddenly returns. He remembers searching for Archimedes, as a part of Viper then someone says "I think we woke something up". And then he gets zapped up. OMG! You out did yourself yet again, but other people mentioned something like this in the earlier comments, saying something about which Viper was first captured. sigh Wrong again. Did you have fun watching me spin myself in the completely wrong direction, when the answer was right in front of me?
You were like one of the first people to reply to the comics weren't you? But seriously what gave it away? How did you figure it out? How did you get inside Jim's head?
I've been keeping up with the series for a while but haven't bothered posting. Just to let you guys know, I'm pretty sure the blurred Spartan at the end has a Hayabusa helmet and a CQB left shoulder. Though, I could be wrong.
Just because I give points (something which everyone can do, incidentally) doesn't mean the speculation in that comment is correct. It just means that it was a quality comment.
So you say, but very few people give points, I'm pretty sure you're the only one and you did say it's not Archimedes (more or less). So that means it's the calvacada.
I can only say…WOW (a good wow, but still wow )
Thanks! I'm actually kind of in love with the lyrical, poetical style of this particular monologue.
Very…odd. Always taking this to new dimensions, Dem.
Thanks, Fezzer. I take that as a compliment.
lol, it was meant as one. A bit of a cryptic comment I guess.
Most intriguing… is this the virus speaking? or perhaps Archimedes?
no, i think who it is is the first victim of the calvacade that was guarding Archimedes…what was its name again….
No, it was the colonel. (The second victim)
He was the one who heard that something was woken up.
That makes a lot of sense
Yes, the one that was guarding Archimedes; I just wrote the transcript for that one, I don't think we've heard his name, EVER. >_> Jim.
But, you forget someting.
The 'sir' at the end of the comic.
Goddard said sir a lot.
But, you forget someting.

Goddard said sir a lot.
You just love throwing us for a loop don't you, Jim.
But, you forget someting.

You just love throwing us for a loop, don't you, Jim?

That's a rethorical question.
No, I think someone else is saying that.
I don't think you will… until later.
I don't think you will… until later. ;D
That's Jim's style, no?
I seem to remember the virus' font was different…

Discuss.

Definitely Archimedes. Because Viper said those lines when they woke Archimedes up.
Um, it wasn't Archimedes that they woke up…
He's not wrong!
I think the more I bug him about it, the longer he'll make me wait. >:|
It's definitely not Goddard.

I Think is the chief
Aaaah… It's all clear now.
Very enjoyable. Keep it up! ( How's that for Vertiginous?)
Nah he used Cold storage as a base for Ferial at one stage. It looks like a mancannon chute from somewhere. Could be anywhere but. It's not very detailed.
Much later
Is it really all clear to you now? I think you're just saying that… ;-P
Oh yeaaaaaa. Of course. I saw this coming.
(Great story Jim, I look forward to it during my week
)
OMG!! We're all idiots! How can it be Archimedes! Read the text again! It says Viper… ARCHIMEDES! WHY THE HELL WOULD IT BE TALKING ABOUT ITSELF IN THE THIRD PERSON!
Self-reflection?
It could simply be replaying the things that it heard, for all we know it doesn't call itself Archimedes.
Of course you know, you wrote the damn thing!
Yeah sorry I was trying to edit that post when you replied
So the one down below is my real thoughts.
Liar.
Because that was a Viper member that was replying to his commander. Goddard didn't appear until much later

You like monologues don't you?
i talk about myself in the third personsometimes, really confuses some people
but you have a point anyway
oh and awesome work as always Jim
OOOOOOOOOOHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
So THAT's where the other three unifected Vipers are! They were the ones who got captured! Wow, that was amost too far back to remember!
so back then, 3 were captured 3 escaped, jim you & bungie think alike, except that you swapped 7 for 3 in your head… one question, why 3?
HOLY ****, MOTHER******! Sorry, are you serious? OMG! How the hell did you expect us to get it? I mean come on, that was like the 5th comic or something! Holy **** Jim this is amazing and by the way is this one of the vipers that Reclaimer killed?
Original as always, Jim! Can't wait for the next 151!
How can Ferial be the Sanghelli if he's a precusor?
It doesn't have to be… it only says that it voice was Sangheili.
BAM! We have a winner folks! You have no idea, Fox, how giddy it made me watching the comprehension dawn on you.
And I'm not at all surprised that you figured it out first.
Wrong on both counts.
And don't get too hung up on trying to figure out the armor permutations. They're actually not important here.
Nope.
at first i thought when did he kill Vipers? then i remembered the orange two at "archimedes extraction lab 01" but they're the wrong colour anyway…
Thanks, Amer! Me, too!
He is wearing a Sangheili form…
Wearing? That seems like an unusual word for the context?
Not at all. He has worn other forms, after all. The one sargeant on Standoff was him, if you'll remember.

I like them in moderation. They allow me to tell sides of a story that don't lend themselves easily to dialogue.
