OoooooOooo.. He's pissed. ..i will admit, my first thought that is continence was off somewhere else, but this was much better to see (and less strange).
oh, and well done with the fire. well placed grenade or flamethrower?
Oh he's lost it. He's had it up to here with them. And it was a flame grenade, possibly two to get that sort of fire. And you can throw a flame grenade, whereas you have to be close for a flamethrower which makes it hard to take a photo. Oh and there id the characteristic napalm splatter on the ground where it went off. This sounds to me like "Hello? Are you alright? Hellooo?" After you've knocked someone over the head with a baseball bat. But that's just me And all those biorhythms are consistent with someone who has just freaked out about nearly being killed
Well, so far, the Reclaimer has been little more than a puppet, a tool – wielded first by Ferial and now by Viper. As a trained soldier, he's been conditioned to follow orders, but now he's starting to redefine his image of himself.
Actually, more appropriately I was replying to comments while trying to multi-task on things at the office – and it's easiest for my mind to pair up Ferial and Viper, since they're all the bad guys.
Sorry, is it just me but in my head, RC sounds really calm like "Oh how are you today? Oh yeah fine just nearly got killed by huge fireball but I'm fine what about you?" Is that just me?
The Reclaimer keeps a tight rein on his emotions, even when he's furious. Imagine him speaking in a low voice, teeth gritted together. His dialogue here is definitely not warm and conversational.
At first I though he might be going into shock, but by the second panel it was pretty obvious from the fact that the calvalcada could not determine what was going on, that he was just ticked. A lot of people when going past a threshold of anger appear cold an emotionless.
Remember the Reclaimer has no easily discernible facial expression, he didn't say anything, and there isn't really a scientific instrument or algorithm to identify rage/anger.
However, I knew as soon as he wasn't responding that he was pissed (as I sure some if not most of you did as well), so I wouldn't say the Cavalcade aren't human savvy, rather I'd say Humans aren't their forte.
(in case its hard to tell because it's under a few other posts, this is a reply to Uccxxv.)
As far as facial expression, his suit POSSIBLY monitors body shape…in case something concerning body shape is affected IE a bone sticking out of the skin, welts forming, ect…sorry for the bad examples, but I just got a new game and I'm so excited I can't think straight.
Glad to see that Reclaimer can survive a giant explosion and being set on fire within a few seconds of each other. Good old new power armour!
Reclaimer ANGRY! You wont like Reclaimer when he's ANGRY! :@
For a second there I was sure that Reclaimer was going to rip off his armour and tear out the circuits containing the Cavalcada, in fact I'm a little disapointed not to see Reclaimer "explode into flames".
Nice, RC is putting down his foot. I find it funny how the Cavalcade almost seem naive in their assessment of his mood. Of course naive isn't the right word, but it was the first word that came to mind, _
I'm not sure about geo-glitching, but interlocking involves placing an item, adjusting its spawn time upward, setting it to NOT spawn at the start, then starting a new round and placing a new object so that the two will overlap when first object finally does spawn.
Yay, and livid is more the appropriate word. I love how the first four panels the Cavalcade are confused about why the Reclaimer won't respond.
'Livid' and 'furious' work equally well in this case.
Thats the best line ever
HAHA reclaimer didnt move fast enough
Seething with pure liquid rage is the most appropriate
Clearly the cavalcade aren't as savvy with humans as they think.
OoooooOooo.. He's pissed. ..i will admit, my first thought that is continence was off somewhere else, but this was much better to see (and less strange).
oh, and well done with the fire. well placed grenade or flamethrower?
gotta be a flamethrower. that much flame?
I was wondering how long until RC "lost it" like this… Should be interesting what kind of "ground rules" he lays down.
Oh he's lost it. He's had it up to here with them. And it was a flame grenade, possibly two to get that sort of fire. 'Freak out' isn't exactly the right turn of phrase here. 'Cold, seething anger' would be much closer to the truth.
but it is easy to see where the calvacada were confused… to the untrained, the bodily effects of anger and fear are very similar… adrenaline.
liked this one, and love that fact the reclaimer isn't so much a toy of the Calvacade any more
Well, so far, the Reclaimer has been little more than a puppet, a tool – wielded first by Ferial and now by Viper. As a trained soldier, he's been conditioned to follow orders, but now he's starting to redefine his image of himself.
"weilded first by Ferail and now by Viper." WHAT?!?
Jim is there something you want to tell us about the Cavalcade?
Oops, typo. I meant Cavalcade, not Viper. Too much on my plate today. :$
I'm sure. So we will be seeing Viper really soon?
Reading too much into my error there, son.
I think that that wasn't a typo, you just want us to think it was a typo.
Actually, not really, but you had Viper on your brain when you wrote that.
Actually, more appropriately I was replying to comments while trying to multi-task on things at the office – and it's easiest for my mind to pair up Ferial and Viper, since they're all the bad guys.

nah, thats what im seeing too

Somehow, I didn't think that for a moment…
Yeah I didn't think warm and conversational. It's just hard to describe it for me. But that is how I imagined that in my head.
That's exactly how I read it, and Reclaimer reminds me of myself in the emotional restraint dept.
Reclaimer angry! Reclaimer smash!
I'm sorry, couldn't resist
Curious as the coming "ground rules".
Well done Jim, "seething anger" well depicted by the position of Reclaimer. The Cavalcade are in for a ride themselves.
They're definitely about to find their relationship with the Reclaimer changing somewhat.
We have a new contestant for understatement of the year.
All who agree, say I.
Um, that would be 'aye', sir.
don't you declare one of those without openingmy Cave! I give them out
don't you declare one of those without opening my Cave! I give them out
don't you declare one of those without opening my Cave! I give them out
Just a bit
Whats going to change tell us Jim. :p
You'll see…
YES! FINALLY… I'M SO HAPPY NOW JIM!!!!
Finally?! What finally? o.0
Humans themselves aren't always real great at identifying cold, seething anger in other humans.
At first I though he might be going into shock, but by the second panel it was pretty obvious from the fact that the calvalcada could not determine what was going on, that he was just ticked. A lot of people when going past a threshold of anger appear cold an emotionless.
The Reclaimer isn't one to fly into a blind rage. He will, however, take raw anger and channel it into cold, calculating action.
And what the hell would he do if he did? Shoot the Calvacada? I don't think that would work
'Continence'? I'm confused. o.0
belive he meant consciousness
Ah, that would make more sense.
Ya, that's the one. thanks Durrell.
Firebomb grenades. Two of them.
Hell yeah! I was right!
Watch for armor turning green and bulking out.
Wow you can bulk it out?! Actually, just change the armor to ODST.
Oh, I think 'Reclaimer' trumps 'ODST' any day of the week.
Remember the Reclaimer has no easily discernible facial expression, he didn't say anything, and there isn't really a scientific instrument or algorithm to identify rage/anger.

Loving the whole rage aspect
Dude was set on fire. I'd be a little peeved, too.
agreed
He blowed up real good.
He's got a real short fuse, that one.
lol, very good, Jim.
He put up with four AI in his head for this long. That is a very, very long fuse Jim. The fire and the explosion juts lit it
Tongue-in-cheek, my friend.
Glad to see that Reclaimer can survive a giant explosion and being set on fire within a few seconds of each other. Good old new power armour!
Reclaimer ANGRY! You wont like Reclaimer when he's ANGRY! :@
No. No Hulk smash here. Take that crap outside. :@
When I 1st read your comment I thought you were being serious.
no, don't go outside! the giant laser towers will get you! Did you forget where you put the reclaimer bunker Jim?
That was the Viper bunker – and it's a long way from here.
I like Livid
Clearly. o.0
I think furious better describes rage and anger. While livid seems to describe it in a more passive sense (to me).
Ever heard of controlled fury?
finally reclaimer was set ablaze, and blown up… and now he's angry… hoorah! is it me or is he HOT when he's on fire
lol jk
He's definitely all fired up.
Sad, just sad at what this has brought you down to…
Oh, you should see me when I really get going. :p
For a second there I was sure that Reclaimer was going to rip off his armour and tear out the circuits containing the Cavalcada, in fact I'm a little disapointed not to see Reclaimer "explode into flames".
That'd sorta kill him
exactly how would Jim show that?
P.S. i also think the not-so-crazy-anymore cavalcada laughing at him helped any
Not too much. Pissed him off a lot more but
He is a master of himself.
Man, I love this comic.
Sign in and enjoy it more. Cause then you get emails from it
Nice, RC is putting down his foot. I find it funny how the Cavalcade almost seem naive in their assessment of his mood. Of course naive isn't the right word, but it was the first word that came to mind, _
It does seem that way to me as well.
Good, it wasn't just me
what game? I amn playing DOW 2 on my cpu and I can get gamerscore for it. Yay!
Team Fortress 2
Wait… when did he get his shields back? I completely forgot with all the jumping around…
Note that they're only 30% functional.
currently…
Do you mean after he took that beating from combat earlier?
I think it's going to become Reclaimer's new lair.
The Reclaimer doesn't 'lair'.
I'm back, and it looks like Reclaimer needs a nap. Again.
People keep saying that….
How do u geo-glitch and interlock in forge?
I'm not sure about geo-glitching, but interlocking involves placing an item, adjusting its spawn time upward, setting it to NOT spawn at the start, then starting a new round and placing a new object so that the two will overlap when first object finally does spawn.
thx
hmm, it looks the same pokes at giant holes between shield doors annoyingly
