It’s a rare privilege as a webcomic writer to meet someone who can take the original author’s vision and expand on it in a way that enhances the existing universe. Shu Sam Chen (known locally as HSAR) has been writing Reclaimer fan fiction for quite a while now, focusing primarily on the interactions of the various Cavalcada with each other and with other entities in the Reclaimerverse. Elements of his stories have periodically crept into Reclaimer at various times, but I’ve been reticent to sign off any one of them as ‘official’ Reclaimer fiction.
Until now. HSAR has logged quite a few hours working on “Superluminality,” and the final product is one that I am proud to include as official Reclaimer canon. HSAR has taken it upon himself to become the official biographer of the Cavalcade, and this first of his longer stories details some of Resplendent Legacy’s history following the dismantling of the Cavalcade by the Forerunners.

Damn that was awesome. The science in there incredible and the Backstory was immense. Loved the Librarian bit in there too. 7/7
You brought a smile to my face. Thanks.
Congrats on first post!
It was REALLY good, totally awesome, deserves more than 7/7.
My only complaint is the backwards 3's, I don't know if it was my computer or what.
It was probably your computer. File looks fine on my end.
i would give it a 10/7
Very good read. First thing I actually did today.
Wait… is it bad that the first thing I did was get on the computer?
Very good read. First thing I did today!
Wait… that's not a good thing, is it? :S
Why wouldn't it be? o.0
Don't know. Just… getting on the computer right after I wake up seems a tad off xD
Awesome! Glad you liked it.
No worries, reading is usually a good thing.
Dude, that's been my daily routine for years now.
Ah, no offense meant, if you took it like that. I just usually don't have time in the morning, at least, on weekdays that is, with school and all.
Oh, no, no. I just found it amusing that you were so appalled by that.
Yeah, I had the same problem… I think they were supposed to be periods, but I'm not sure.
Wow. This was just awesome. Amazing work.
Definitely good stuff.
Now – I just need to find time to work on my own Reclaimerverse short stories.
Really? I'll check it out.
EDIT: Nope, I didn't see anything strange. Then again, I have the font on my computer, so I wouldn't see it anyway
I always thought that PDFs were built more like a frozen image file than a text file, but apparently that's not the case.
I thought so too. Obviously, not so. That or perhaps it displays wierdly on Macs, which I can't test.
I've submitted a fix for the wierd backwards threes – turns out the font went wierd on my ellipses.
I've submitted a fix for the strange backwards threes – turns out the font didn't like my ellipses.
finally i can get to reading this!!!!!!!!
Having read thousands and owning thousands of Sci FI books, having a comic book collection that is comprised of over 30,000 issues, also thousands of science books and I have 4 degrees (BS in Com Sci, BS in Engineering Tech, AS in Physics and an AA in World History and Ancient Religions) I have to say that was GREAT piece of literature.
I would recommend going full bore and drafting it into a full novel and you have tons of vectors for other novels tied to it.
Again GREAT WORK.

Thanks! I didn't notice your comment until now. I've been toying with putting a few ideas into full-blown novels, but so far, I haven't had time. I have a busy life. Maybe check back when the next story comes out? I'm calling it "Quintessence".
