Wow. That guy just got owned. Unless there's a twist somewhere, which there usually is. I can see how one might occur from that EMP; do EMPs affect Reclaimer's shields?
Here's my twist on it:
The emp knocked out his shields and the radiation makes it so they can't recharge, so now reclaimer has to run like hell to escape, metroid style.
How is this confusing? Sure there's gonna be a twist but that's definitely Reclaimer with the shotgun. Either Bold just got owned or he's gonna get back up somehow. (I'm pretty sure I'm right but if you guys are right I can never show my face here again) xD
Don't worry you can still show your face here, NONE of us have EVER been right about plot twists and stuff (we have gotten close a few times though), so it's a near-inevitability.
And also, Jim has a Masters in psychology, so he probably plots it to make us suspect something completely different, in fact, if we did get it right it would be pretty scary.
Oh I know Jim well enough to know that I have to expect to (or not to) know more or less than everybody else thinks they know about the twists in Jim's comic, which even he may not know.

I wonder if it is of any significance that RC is holding his BR in the panel he tells Tran to keep generating smoke and in the next panel it is on "his" back.
my guess is The EMP took out tran so she cant track the guy that captured bold and Tag so hes now in a trap and in danger of getting the virus thats taking out viper.
I assume it takes large amounts of Ferial's energy to create a copy of himself. If you've ever read Harry Potter and understand the Horcruxes (or however you spell it) then the principle could be referred to in this situation. A Horcrux is basically where a part of your soul gets put into an object so that if your body dies you can actually live forever in this object. This takes massive amounts of energy.
Hopefully I just filled in what could be seen as a 'plothole', I don't want Jim's reputation ruined in any way. xD
This is definitely as good a theory as any other. There are reasons why Ferial was only able to make two copies of himself, reasons which remain under cover of night—for now.
Just to clarify things about the BR Shotgun thing. I think he just swapped weapons. Yeah this might be in offense with the first image but he might have just picked the shotgun up in the following 30 yards. I mean, those are 30 YARDS.
So RC just got hit by an EMP, while in close proximity to an infected Viper, and he thinks he's winning? NO. It'll take more that a shotty to the face to stop Bold, I'm guessing.
So, when has everything turned out to CLICK in place, huh? In every cliche, the guy is suddenly stopped with a "too easy" effect… then, unsurprisingly, the hero's in a trap. Uh, the question, though, is… what's the trap, and that little fact of the EMP? What's that for? Uh oh…
Sorry for the confusion I read more into it than I should have. I really like the Boom and Crackle. Have you used them before and I've just forgotten. I suspect this is the case.

That's exactly the twist I was thinkin of! But that one's too obvious. Jim wouldn't settle for such an easy setup.
After double checking what Bold's helmet was I am not confident that it is reclaimer with the shotgun
So I'm guessing the bouble shield is representing the EMP source and by the looks of things Bold is fading into the background… Almost like a mirage

It is in-fact the Reclaimer with the shotgun. That is not Bold's helmet.

Nice. What is this by the way? Photoshop with a filter? Looks nice if it is. Most of my photoshops turn out real crappy but I’ve made a few good ones.
