Welcome to the Official Reclaimer Halo 3: ODST Contest! Up for grabs this time around is a free copy of Bungie’s latest title, complete with an unlock code for Sgt. Johnson in Firefight mode. All you have to do to enter for your chance to win is submit an ODST-themed screenshot from Halo 3 – either from the campaign or from multiplayer – by Sept. 16th. That’s two weeks from the time of this posting. Fire up Halo 3, set up the best screenshot possible, and then email it as an attachment to reclaimercomic@gmail.com by midnight (EDT) on Sept 16, with Reclaimer Halo 3: ODST Screenshot Contest in the subject line. From there, I will open up the submissions to a community vote. The screenshot that garners the most votes will win a brand-new copy of Halo 3: ODST with Sgt. Johnson.

Edit: I really didn’t think this needed to be stated explicitly, but in case the above instructions weren’t clear enough, the screenshots you submit MUST be one of your own, not one you “borrowed” from a site like IGN or TeamXbox. In other words, you yourself have to have taken the shot from one of your own campaign missions, multiplayer or custom games, or Forge settings. Why would you think it would be fair for you to benefit from someone else’s work? Submitting a screenshot that is not yours will automatically and permanently get you removed from contention from this and all future Reclaimer contests. No exceptions. Consider yourselves warned.

Looks like I'm gunna be playing some (more) campaign! Heck, maybe I'll get a great screenshot opportunity from my 4-man mythic run this Sat.
I might try multilayer. Easier to stage things but then again the Randomness of campaign might work better too.

I'm not Jim so I can't answer that question, but I think if photoshopping was allowed then it would put a lot of people (such as myself) at a disadvantage. I just recently downloaded GIMP and I haven't had much experience with it yet so I wouldn't be able to make anything decent-looking or make any changes to an existing picture without making it look like crap…
No Photoshopping. If you can't capture it in the game, then it shouldn't be in your screenshot.

When will the submissions be in a Community vote?
The contest closes to submissions in just under 12 hours. I'll get everything organized first thing in the morning and hopefully have the poll open to vote by noon EDT tomorrow. Voting will be open until noon on the 22nd, at which point I'll announce the winner.
Turns out my friend was able to get ODST after all, so I decided not to submit an entry after all. I don't need a copy, and someone else could surely find a good home for it. Best of luck, fellas!
