The Reclaimer walking down the ramp from the platform.

RECLAIMER

What do you mean... 'human'?

CAVALCADE

It is low-level processing, even for human patterns, but the patterns are there, nonetheless.

Closer in on the Reclaimer.

CAVALCADE

In point of fact, the neural patterns are similar to those found in certain of your warriors during cryosleep.

RECLAIMER

Could it be that it's the Viper minds you're detecting?

Overhead shot of the Reclaimer.

CAVALCADE

Precisely what we were thinking.

CAVALCADE

We believe they have been converted to the processing matrix here.

RECLAIMER

Like the Precursors and the Mercyhoard.

CAVALCADE

Very much the same, yes.

The Reclaimer walking out into the corridor.

RECLAIMER

So, what should I be looking for?

CAVALCADE

You will notice that this facility is built in a symmetrical pattern.

CAVALCADE

The Forerunners used more than just circuitry in their processors.

Front shot of the Reclaimer walking.

CAVALCADE

They included the very geometry of their architecture.

CAVALCADE

Every building, every ship they built was itself a computer.

CAVALCADE

Different shapes served different functions.

The Reclaimer standing at the junction of several corridors.

RECLAIMER

And what does the geometry of this structure tell you about its purpose?

CAVALCADE

That this used to be a shatterbox.

I had a feeling you might use this map the way you did, and I'm glad for it.

It's good to have you back on a regular schedule again, Jim. You've been missed. :)

Yeah, I've been almost pain-free with my back for a couple of months now. Of course, losing 30 pounds really helps with that. :)

    whoooooot i think i was right :D

"hmm i don't know if it is connected but could it be that viper guy that got taken by the virus way back towards the start? (im talking about the one who got sucked up the grav lift on construct) The virus appeared to file him away somewhere….

on a side note: I wonder what is happening with the cavalcade member who was off playing with a viper member or is that the one i was thinking about"

is that why i didn't get a comment from you Jim???

Actually, I thought it might have been the one zapped right near the start! The one the Calvacada was playing with. It can't be Eternal Refuge, because we can't be there already :D

That's basically was Larrykan was suggesting, as well, and this isn't. More to come…

Ah the Shatterboxes again. Nice idea with incorporating the symmetry of the map into the story.

id imagine shatterboxes could be all different sizes… if humans tried to make one, it probably would be the size of a small moon, while forerunners could make them the size of a house. the cavalcade boxes are most? advanced known, so they are the size of a fitness ball

Shatterboxes are as much hardware as software…
