Reclaimer 235 - Viral Anarchy

Structured area, glowing with a blue light.

INDIGENOUS ADJUVANT

What happens when you destroy a virus that is designed to be destroyed?

INDIGENOUS ADJUVANT

It does the next thing it is supposed to do.

Same area, zoomed in a bit, now glowing red.

INDIGENOUS ADJUVANT

In this case, it fragmented, scattered like so much broken glass, and dug its way down into every system everywhere.

INDIGENOUS ADJUVANT

It leaped from me to everything I am connected to -- and from there to even more.

INDIGENOUS ADJUVANT

They were infected the moment they touched Archimedes - Viper.

Further zooming in to pattern at the base of the structure.

INDIGENOUS ADJUVANT

A simple biological organelle that had lain dormant for so long...

INDIGENOUS ADJUVANT

...transferred to my own matrix in my attempt to stop them.

INDIGENOUS ADJUVANT

The perfect Trojan Horse.

Zoomed in completely on the core of the structure.

INDIGENOUS ADJUVANT

Ferial has perfected the bio-digital virus...

INDIGENOUS ADJUVANT

...and he used the lever of the universe as his delivery vehicle.

Never used Tamiflu, but I do rather like TheraFlu when I'm sick.

These graphics are really cool. Where are they from?

Cold Storage. The red tint is added, obviously.

By the looks of it, it seems to all be from the one image, just altered in whatever way, be it color shifted or cropped.

    Very nice!!

So this means that Viper was ultimately the pawn that pushed the queen off guard? Ferial used Viper as a "carrier" to transfer the Virus to the Calvacada?

    Very interesting…

Nice idea Jim… a virus programmed to be destroyed so if could see the inner workings of the "vault" and activate when required.. Interesting indeed….

Call it an escape command. Delete the program, but the thing is meant to do one more thing on its way out the door.

Part of me want's to think that's impossible. I guess he should have booted in safe mode before deleting the virus. Always be in safe mode when you do anything other than Microsoft word.

The perfect Trojan Horse indeed. When you think it's gone, it's really just sitting in your recycle bin wreaking havoc on your computer. I would've thought the Cavalcada would think to empty the recycle bin once in a while…
    Great pictures, great comic. :)

Heheh, never bring the enemy into your house to kill them, kill 'em on your front lawn.

In other words, once the virus had been taken to the program for deleting stuff it escaped, and since deleting things is a pretty major function, that program was with the major core files, so what did the virus now have immediate access to?... all the important stuff.

so.. part of ferials plan is to use the virus to gain acces to Eternal Refuge. after which he will use the shatterbox to make himself whole again, and then take over the universe.

    I think….

Technically, it's four separate images, each progressively further zoomed in. And of course each is cropped and color filtered as needed to fit each panel.

I built a map in there once called cryostasis. It was just a flat floor and a few grav lifts. Made a good rockets map caus you could shoot the walls instead of the floors to kill people.
