Ok, I’m a little confused. Last comic someone brought up the point that this flood in storage was a Pure Form, so it does not take a host (Ferial) since it is formed directly from the Gravemind. This comic confirms that this is in fact a Pure Form, so how can it be a Pure Form but still have infected Ferial?
A) This is an alternate Haloverse (always has been), and B) there's an exception to every rule. Stay tuned for further details.

maybe pure forms were based off of infested precursors, but when ferial was infested, he basically kept a part of himself in the purecursor (yes, i did) to see if he can regain control someday

well i did say there was a good part of his mind. well sentimental might not be "good" as such, and it would seem that the cavalcada still dont like him though. are they going to hold this body hostage??
If it's good, then it's for entirely selfish reasons. There's nothing redeemable about Ferial, as you will see.

Not sure if this was intentional, but I noticed the last panel of this comic and the last panel of the last comic are almost the same, though one is larger than the other, and thus shows more of the picture.
Just an artistic observation.

Well, there are no marines in that level, but if you look at the visible leg it looks a lot like the arbiter's.

It's a visual identifier for a stats-tracking plugin I use that says it's working. I could disable it if I really wanted to, but I kinda like it.

Oh, but you're not. He is spinning a web of lies and trickery that make you think you understand his lies and trickery, but said lies and trickery is being committed in another way that we do not recognise as lies and trickery.
And that web of lies and trickery is in itself just another lie in a much larger web of lies and trickery, spaning all of what we think we know about Jim, Reclaimer, Ferial, the Cavalcade, and all of the supporting cast.

Yeah, that's what I was going to say. Since Ferial created the flood, like the Sangheli race, there's probably some of him in the flood. As to my ending idea, I'm thinking that Ferial will try to cure the flood from his own body, and in doing so, Reclaimer steals this cure and gives it to the UNSC.
When I get feeling better. Hopefully soon.
