Yes, Hive Mind springs to mind, because what is with the collective terminology he keeps using??

      There's a reason for that. ;-)

And yeah – about as long as it's been since I put Reclaimer comic out (read: January). :)

The reason is it WAS an elite in the last comic. Jim must have planned this…Jim never makes mistakes. Its like how Spartans never die, they're just missing in action.

Wheeew, I just spent the last week catching up from the beginning. Two years worth is a lot of comics. Waited till I got caught up to post and now that I have…where to start? Jim, kudos man, kudos. One hell of a comic you've got here. I've been enjoying it immensely! Usually I relegate to "lurking" on the various sites I frequent, but I just had to give my two cents here. Reclaimer is fan-freakin-tastic! I've never really indulged in comics, but I am a HUGE halo fan, and Jim, you have such a great sense of story-telling, humor, and word-choice. Heads above dear sir!

Plus reading the comments and absorbing the community that has grown around RC from the start has been very interesting. Seeing regulars come and go (or never go…HSAR, DooBy, among others…); seeing the attention to detail from you and the readers; and seeing the devotion to an amazing story has been incredible. You guys (including you, Jim) are priceless. Sorry to ramble, but hell, you guys don't care. Anyways, GREAT comic and awesome fan-base. Keep it up! (and now you've got one more RC-addict to deal with…mwahahahaha ;)

p.s. I too am hoping to live on a farm – preferably of the sustainable, self-sufficient variety – out in the countryside someday, and knowing that you're doing it and still able to indulge your electronically geared passions and hobbies is a real motivation. Good on ya man!

Wow. I really appreciate your taking the time out to chime in. This is the sort of thing that really makes my day. Glad you found us, and I'm thrilled you've enjoyed it so much. My publishing schedule has been a bit hit-and-miss the last few weeks, due to a slurry of health and personal issues I've been dealing with—but stay tuned, as I'm planning to push a few more comics out in the next few days.

Thanks for commenting and hope to see you around here more!
