Wait, I think my brain is working. Since they've hacked into the river, they all became aware that uniting the Cavalcade would only help Ferial, so the Cavalcade ran off to do whatever AIs do when they aren't in a suit of armor. I haven't really worked out anymore than that, and it's possible this got explained in another comments section, but I started thinking about this and got excited.

I've read all 200+ of Reclaimer in about 8 hours, with no breaks except to sleep. It's an addicting comic, I can see why people get so restless.
