Like a phoenix rising from the ashes, Reclaimer makes a triumphant return the fires of oblivion.
The 4-page mini-arc entitled “Stone Epitaph” was a brief glimpse into the future of Reclaimer. Great things are coming to the Reclaimerverse when Reach drops in the fall. In the meantime, you may want to go back through the archives for a quick refresher.
Things are always calmest just before…

Hells yea. Messing with time. Gotta love it. Good werk, my good man.

The bubble does not, however, allow time travel. I'm patently avoiding that particular trope.

Good idea. That kind of plot device always ends with a few holes, and, as you're aware, I'm speaking from experience. Honestly man, I can't wait for you to read the book. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised with the quality. It's vastly more mature and better thought out than the comic ever was.

Looking forward to seeing it!

Book? I'm I going to feel bad for not reading something now?
suddenly stops his month long seizure THANKS JIM! great return comic
Good to see you back in action runs to go play Halo Wars for some reason… but finds his xbox with red rings of death… :'(
Yup, yup. Just needed to take some time off.

Glad you're back because this is looking like a great arc! I can't believe I missed it! Stupid computer…. >:(
As always Jim, you know how to draw me in with 6 simple panels.
Is the time bubble bigger on the inside as well?
Glad to know I've still 'got it'.
My recent post Oxygen
TIme bubble seems a little convenient. Hint Hint, melancholy, Hint Hint
Seriously, dude, let it rest. You badgering me about the Machine isn't likely to bring it back into the story any sooner. I have no plans for the Machine to reappear at this time, and your persistence on the subject only serves to make it less likely that it will ever be seen again. Consider yourself on notice.

Come on Jim. You should know by now that nothing can shut me up.
I thought we were closer than that… : (
Technically, I wield the Banhammer around these parts. I could very easily 'shut you up'.
Curses… my weakness has been discovered!
Damn you got shut down dude. That's the first time I've actually heard Jim threaten to use the Banhammer. Actually wait, make that second. There was one dude…
WOOT! Glad to see reclaimer back in action! I was starting to get worried there for awhile.
Yup, back in action.

Just like Loony Toons.
But cooler. So much cooler
im so glad that you did another reclaimer comic, its been a while, and on my birthday bo less… thanks!
Happy to have helped make your day a little better!

I want cake.
if you want cake i got a bunch left over just come on up to minnesotta
CAKE PARTY!!
But I have pie, and we all know pie is better
Besides, the cake is a LIE
And it made my day even better, even if it wasn't my birthday. Thanks Jim!
I'm making a note here, HUGE SUCCESS
..the storm. Things are always calmest just before the storm. You really need to finish your sentences Jim.
Great to see your back in action. I gotta say though, the break was well-deserved. ^^
Appreciated. Looking forward to seeing what new resources Reach provides.
My recent post The Curfew
So am I, in the Reclaimer sense…but also in the Rebellion sense. I think ill get it finished off using Reach to help me out. I might finish off the current arc(s) and then hand it over to someone more…dedicated. We'll see. :3
Recently I've come to re-appreciate RvB for it's ability to tie up loose ends at the frantic pace of a psychopath in a shoe string factory all the while retaining it's humor and simultaneously tieing back to jokes for season 1.
I'm also starting to hate episode 11 with a passion for going absolutely nowhere plot wise.
I'll take that as criticism.
Also, your metaphors need some work…
My recent post The Curfew
I'm going to beat you to a feathered pulp with the unrelenting rage of a mosquito.
We love you too. ...and they still need some work methinks.
They still made me chuckle. Probably because of how fail they are
And 11 annoyed me too, because 10 was pure epic awesomesauce and then we were left with that. I do like the puns and jokes.
"It was before your time dude, but trust me, you don't wanna go there"
The purple in the last box is really hard to read, i had to put my face an inch away from the screen to read it.
Just a heads up
Different monitors render things differently. It's impossible for me to account for every variation. That said, I'll keep in mind that this particular shade may not be the best choice.
My recent post The Curfew
The problem for me was the lack of contrast. Dark purple and black don't mix man. I think you should lighten it up and space the letters out a bit more.
Yeah I found even with the highlighting, they weren't so easy to read. Once I focused it was fine, but I wouldn't suggest purple on a map that has a purple colour scheme.
And Paul, maybe you found it hard to read because your face was an inch from the screen? Just guessing :p
Wait wait wait wait wait…. wait. What was that whole Reach thing with Archimedes, the River, the Cavalcade being gone??? Was that a peek into later in the plot? Or do I just have to sit and wait until things start making sense (like usual)?
Sometimes I wonder why I even bother writing blog entries to go with comics. =/
My recent post The Curfew
I read it, I read it!!!
Okay, for all of those that DON'T, basically the Reach scene was a little peek into a future plot line, as well as a sample of the Reach technologies (game-wise, not canon-wise). With any luck, Jim will be able to complete these arcs, and more onto Reach when it comes out and tie in that mini-arc.
awesome face
Awesome Sauce
See above. :p I r very happy
Aside from the fact that this episode spits in Relativity's face (with no time, there can be no relative motion, yet still reclaimer can talk his mouth off and jump about).
Still, It's nice to be back.
I hope we see the melancholy in there. JOY!
Again with the melancholy? Oh dear…
I'm not even sure what he's talking about. There's no melancholy in this story. :p
I think its the Machine. I seem to remember he (or someone else, I don't know who it was) invented that name for it…I may have to have a read of the comments on some strips with the Machine again. :3
Yeah, Snow seems to think that 'Melancholy' is a better name for my own character than 'the Machine'—and insists on calling it by that name, which, not coincidentally, is a really good way to get my ire up.
You know Jim, Name's are arbitrary streams of syllables with little to no implied meaning used to refer to a noun such as a person. I doesn't matter what I call it.
From now on I shall refer to myself as Phillip the Chevere.
That's a pretty pretentious response from someone who thinks he knows more than he actually does.
Can you blame a teenager for being Arrogant?
Phillip the Chevere will have none of this.
Besides, all I need to is what I get when I multiply six by nine.
Better get revising for that then. Just an FYI: a name in this sense is a title (or more accurately label) given by an owner/creator etc. The proper name of 'melancholy' is The Machine, it was made so by its creator, Jim. Whatever your parents named you is your proper name. Phillip the Chevere and Melancholy are simply pseudonyms you have created. If you don't know what you're talking about, don't talk at all.
Thats one way to look at it. The philosophy of names isn't going to be solved by us arguing. Both of our opinions stand on equal grounds.
Just like Religion, and War, and Obama.
I like the way you think. To be honest, arguing over the internet always proves difficult…and I don't want to start a war. :3
This isn't a war, I'm interested. But I do agree with you. Although a name is a string of syllables, attached to them is the accumulation of knowledge in relation to the owner of those syllables. As such, I know that the string of syllables of Jim Stizel equals pure badassery when it comes to comics :p

Wait a minute, I hate to double post here but I have a serious question.
The todash thing. In the beginning it was almost like the Cavalcade (or I guess at that time, cavalcada) could jump anywhere at any time at will using only the technology in the reclaimers suit, but now they seem to need a power source to jump (like the plasma grenade) and only for short distances, and then they need a link to jump long distances. Which is it?
Is this like Mass Effect where the relays are already in place and without a link only local jumps can be performed,
or is it like Star Trek where they can go literally anywhere at any time.
And why the sudden downgrade in the reclaimers suit.
The fact that it's been damaged so much?
I'm not criticizing. I'm just noting inconsistencies that may or may not be deliberate on Jims part or may just be entirely misunderstood by me.
I'm going to assume, by the fact that I haven't gotten an answer yet, that I sound like an idiot for asking my question.
It means I'm not going to answer your question right now.
Jim needs a sec to actually understand what you just said and work around it :p But I'm gonna go with Chad here on the fact that his suit has been shot to hell.
woohoo, RC is back. is there supposed to be a number jim or are you just gonna go with titles from here on out?
It was actually an accident when I posted this up, but I might just keep doing it this way from here on out.
Can you at least put a number up say every five or ten comics, so that we know when we're reaching 300. We need a party
