Shouldn't it be "Ferial grossly overestimated you"?

I have no idea what you're talking about…

Did he just evade into an armor lock?

He has all the armour abilities. He's like a member of Noble team, only cooler.

Being able to pick two armor abilities at spawn and mix and match them would instantly give the game so much more variety.

Indeed. I'd love to sport both camo and hologram.

I know what SotS meant, but that wasn't the visual that went through my head. :)

I guarantee somebody at Bungie had that idea and tried it out. It probably didn't work for some reason…

            I can still dream though.

Actually if you do a custom game and set full camo as a base trait and set the spawn equipment to hologram your dream will come true. (I'VE DONE IT IT WORKS)

Ok, I am going to be the first to bring the Bnet bitching here and call RC a complete noob for using the OP armour lock ;)

But yes, RC is like Noble Team…ALL OF THEM.

Most of the Bnetards don't know how to counter Armor Lock, so they call it OP.

Also, I see you used the trick I talked about in that last panel. Good on ya. ;)

            Armour lock is not overpowered…

not even close. There's so many one hit kill weapons in halo that Armour lock is almost a necessity.

But it is far too versatile. It could be easily tweaked in such at way that while still serving its purpose, it wouldn't be unbalanced.

Whoa, whoa, whoa… I only made that as a joke… I didn't ACTUALLY mean to bring the fight here.

I support Armour Lock, but frosting needs to go.

Frosting is that little bit of energy that you see around RC at the end of the last panel. It's that bit of energy that sticks around right when you hit the button to lock, and it deflects everything while you're still standing.

People abuse it by going into CQC and tapping the button to start the frosting, deflect a melee which disables their shields and then punch them in the face.

You really haven't seen any of these threads over on Bungie.net?/ Over second thread is "I HATE TEH BLOOM AND ARMA LOCK IS OP!!! RAGE!" Usually with the level of intelligence indicated by such a thread title.

I don't browse the B.net forums, exactly because I can't abide all the bitching and bellyaching. :)

Actually, you're still vulnerable while you're punching the ground… I know because I've died several times while engaging armor lock. The "frosting" will show up, but you're not invulnerable until your fist is on the ground. Please note that sometimes lag makes it seem like one is invincible before hitting the ground, but it's really just asynchronized timing.

If anything, using the frosting right is the best way to counter the OP double-melee…

And who in their right mind would STAND there while their opponent is locked? Keep moving, and chuck a sticky at them just as they're running out of lockdown. Works every time, and typically I can put a couple shots into their teammates' shields while they're locked.

I wish that if you changed the options in a custom game, you choose whether you can hold 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, or 7 armor abilities at once. And you'd change it by pressing right on the D-pad.

[if you have recon as your control xcheme] press and hold RB+X+down in the D-pad+ rightstick. hold for five seconds and VOILA you have your weapon down
