I bet you thought you’d never see this day, didn’t you?
I haven’t forgotten you, my loyal readers. I surely haven’t.
My daughter will be ten weeks old tomorrow. This parenting thing has been a strange, wonderful, terrifying, and exhausting ride—and I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world. Unfortunately, nearly everything else in my life has also had to take a back seat to her in the meantime (as well they should). Ten weeks into this, and we’re finally starting to hit our stride, and I find I now have a skosh more time (and energy) for creative endeavors. Hence, a new comic today.
Rejoice, citizens of the Reclaimer nation! It’s your lucky day! And with any luck, there will continue to be new installments next week. Ferial and the Reclaimer are finally going to have it out.

Indeed.
There were those who said this day would never come…
...but I was not one of them! So happy to get my Reclaimer fix again!
Very happy to be able to provide your fix once again.
Awwww yyyeeeaaaahhh. Awesome to see RC come back. Congratulations on the parenthood thing, as well. Did you name her Tran? lol
That would be a “no.”
Yea Jim!!! Looking forward to more when you get time!! I have two daughters, 2 and 5. It just gets more and more fun.
It’s been a great, if exhausting, ride so far. Definitely looking forward to watching her grow up.
whooooooo… Welcome back Jim!!!!!
does it reflect on my strength of character that I cannot be bothered making a Gravatar???
Make the most of your kid, they are only this age once… though from what I hear from my sister that is probably not entirely a bad thing
oh.. maybe it reflects on my intelligence that I don’t remember making one and yet did :/
I dunno. You apparently already have one…
And yeah, we’re enjoying her, but we’re also looking forward to interacting with her on a level that doesn’t involve screaming and crying.
I blame the obvious light headedness associated with my Reclaimer fix
Of course. That must be it.
That time probably won’t come for about 20 years yet…
Mono-syllabic responses count, too.
Huh…apparently, I had to make a new account. HOWEVER, that’s obviously not why I’m here. First things first, I’ll congratulate you once again on your daughter (I hope she grows up to be as intelligent and…ahem…[i]geeky[/i] as her father
). Nice to hear you’ve got more time on your hands, and good to see a new comic strip.
Peace.
Ah, I’m getting too used to BB code. Disregard the italicising fail.
Yeah, I know you had an IntenseDebate account before, but I no longer use that, hence the reason behind needing to make a new account. If you had a forum account before, then it probably got accidentally deleted when I was purging spam accounts the other day. And BBCode isn’t installed for the forum anymore (and never was for the main site), so it’s regular HTML all the way.
Well, that’s fine with me.
‘Tis just good to see Reclaimer running around from frame to frame once again.
RECLAIMER IS BACK!!!! REJOICE UNTO JIM!!!
Oh, and congrats with your daughter, hope everything is going well. Looking forward to see the final chapter of RC Comics
Thank you. I will take your financial donations now.
IT LIVES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Never, ever doubt me.
Heya Jim,
My daughter is 12 weeks on thursday. Haven’t posted on here before but I’ve been reading for a while. Good to see it back and have fun with the kidlet (awesome when she smiles isn’t it?)
It really is.
In my eagerness to welcome you back, I almost forgot to read the comic.
Welcome back, Jim. And congratulations on the parent thing.
See, now, that’s the most important reason to be here. Silly to forget about it.
