This one ended up with more of a film noir atmosphere to it than I’d intended—and I like it!

Welcome to 2010! I can safely say that I have published a comic every day of this year so far.
This comic spawned directly from a Facebook conversation I had with Sangheilioz recently:
Sangheilioz: Jim, Reclaimer is my drug. I need my fix, man!
Jim: Oh, so the headaches, shakiness, and nausea are finally getting to you?
Sangheilioz: you have no idea…
Jim: It helps if you find a warm, semi-dark corner someplace, wrap up in a blanket, and curl up into that corner and repeat, “Reclaimer Reclaimer Reclaimer…” over and over again until the symptoms dissipate. It works twice as well if you videotape and upload it to YouTube.
Sangheilioz: If I had a camera you’d see that exact scene, plus rocking back and forth.
Jim: Oh, and drool. There HAS to be drool.
Jim: Heck, if you find a camera and make that video happen, I’ll make a special Reclaimer comic just for you. 
Sangheilioz: You, sir, are on!

Sangheilioz: You can’t really see the drool, but it’s there.
Sangheilioz, this comic’s for you (and gives me a creative way to introduce a plot point I was already going to implement, anyway.
And just so we’re clear, this was a one-time deal. Making videos without invitation will not necessarily provoke plot-affecting comics. wink
It wasn’t until I exported today’s comic from Photoshop that I realized this is Friday the 13th. Have a wonderfully ghoulish day!
The Reclaimer famine has been lifted! I’m posting this a few hours earlier than normal, just to make up (a little bit) for the dearth of comics the last few weeks. Enjoy!
