Great comic Jim, glad this looks like it's heading for a nice reveal.

Heh, yeah. I think this is actually the seventh update in a row (and the ninth this year). So yes, definitely back onto a schedule again. Feels great!

    Lovin the rollover text.

My guess is it's going to pull a halo and he's gonna be a descendent of Didact. I'm saying this to exhaust Jim's options so it won't take this route, cuz that would suck. Excellent comics so far Jim. Can't wait for the next one.

Um, not deliberately? It's been so long since I read that book that I couldn't give you a single, cogent quote from it.

Three things to bear in mind: 1) we are rapidly approaching the 300th page in this series, 2) this is a hobby for me, a labor of love, and I work updates into my life schedule—which is, admittedly, already pretty darn busy, and 3) this is a long-form comic so the writing and creation process tends to take longer than your average webcomic. All that goes into making this a shorter series than it would otherwise have been had I been able to maintain a thrice-weekly schedule. :)

Thanks for stopping, though, and I hope you'll continue reading! There's lots more to come!

What is this "life" of which you speak.

Hey, maybe when you grow up, you'll finally get to have a life of your very own. ;)

I have no idea whats going on but I love what you did with the effects because i'm a big comic book fan.

Thanks! It took me a while (and a lot of experimentation) to find a set of filters that I liked, but I'm really happy with the visual effect I've got now. Also, it helps that Reach is so visually rich.
