RC should definitely have kept the fuel rod gun… though I would assume that if Ferial could be killed with standard methods of attack it would have been done long ago…
Yeah, hazards of not using IntenseDebate anymore. I lost a lot of the power of that system when I turned it off, including the ability to allow commenters to edit their posts.
The archives go all the way back to October 2007. I admit, the pacing on this has been a lot slower than I’d hoped for, since I’d originally planned to have this storyline done well before Reach dropped. But hey, you just can’t plan for everything in life.
It’s on indefinite hiatus. I don’t have a convenient way to capture screenshots anymore, since 343/Waypoint didn’t carry over Bungie’s support for that feature—and, unfortunately, Halo 4 doesn’t have the optional Elite avatar. I’m kicking around the idea of trying to set up my video capture rig again, but I don’t see that happening anytime real soon. I’d like to finish this series eventually—I hate leaving projects incomplete—but I don’t have any estimate as to when that might happen. Sorry.
Maybe you should just finish the series using Halo Reach/3?
or…
While in Reach, Ferial somehow attains a human form—-> Halo 4.
or…
Since some spartans in Halo 4 look like robots (which I find stupid yet convenient for your comic), Ferial’s body is mortally wounded/destroyed on Reach. However, using the same forunner technology which saved 343 Guilty Spark, Ferial was able to transfer his data/mind into a computer system and put himself in a robotic body.
The problem wasn’t the platform, it was not having any way to download screenshots once Bungie sunsetted their support and passed the baton to 343i. It’s a moot point now, though, since 343i just instituted a File Browser on Halo Waypoint. If you’ve been paying attention to the Facebook page, you’ll have noted that Reclaimer is preparing to come back, so stay tuned.
+1, Nice to see this continuing on agian.
Yes. Yes, it is.

Hence the reason why he left it behind.
Pretty sure it’s EXACTLY like a family reunion, Your family must be normal, jim. How fortunate.
It’s like a family reunion—turned homicidal!
Aww yeah, that’s two days on schedule
Looking good Jim, great to finally see the big showdown.
You’ve only been building up to it for… Jeeze, how many years has it been?
Just to clarify (there is no longer an edit button) – that was not sarcasm. I genuinely can’t remember how long this series has been running for

Why did you stop using Intense Debate?
It made our debates so intense!
Seriously though, why?
Too much trolling, thumbs up spammers, ect?
Or were there certain rules that you didn’t want to follow?
I wrote a post about it in the blog, if you’d bother to go look. Seriously, go read it now: http://reclaimercomic.com/2011/08/intensedebate-is-gone/
I’d swear, sometimes, that it’s a little bit like I’m just talking to myself down there…

Alright. I read it. Yes, you are somewhat talking to yourself down their. Not a lot of people read blogs.
Interesting generalization. Just because you don’t read blogs doesn’t mean no one does.
Hey, I read your blog on ID disappearing, and expressed my slight disappointment at the time but I guess you gotta do what you gotta do.
And for some strange reason, I can only think of one song…Final Countdown :p
Woo, good to see it back, missed last weeks post but saw it today.
congrats on fatherhood Jim.
ooo, forgot i already had a gravatar as well. that saves a lot of bother.
“Ah, there you are, Reclaimer! Would you like some tea?”
“Or a crumpet?”
I wouldn’t pass up a crumpet right about now. Does Reclaimer like crumpets?
I can’t get the imgage to load.
What browser are you using? I’m not seeing any signs of problems on my end…
IE. This is the first comic I’ve had trouble with. I can read the previous one.
Well, I have no idea why the image wouldn’t be loading for you. Have you tried a different browser?
Is this series still going? I’d assume not seeing how long its been but it seems a shame for it to die so close to the end.
