And as I recall, I had to fix the HTML on that one. Do you guys even know how to insert images into posts? Basically, you upload your image to your favorite hosting site, like photobucket or imageshack, and then grab the html image link (which I know at least imageshack provides right out of the box). Your image code should look like (minus the space in front of 'img'):

< img src="IMAGELINKHERE">

And that's about it. Your image should show up just fine.

Thank you Jim, I finnaly figured out how to post images through Flickr. Aparently they don't allow using the URL in the code and you have to use their embed code provided with the picture.
Some times I wonder if the internet is messing with me, or I just can't stop making the little mistakes that somehow debilitate everything..

Thanks guys. I actually had to take a break after writing these, 'cause I had too much Halo on the brain. I got most of my inspiration (design-wise, at least) from p.122 of the Halo Graphic Novel. Gotta love ONI and the ambiguity of what they have to say.

If you save a game down to your hard drive, you still have to load the disc in the tray in order to play it. Then it will spin the disc just long enough to determine that it's a legitimate, licensed version of the game, and from that point forward, it will load the game from the hard drive. But the disc has to be in the tray the whole time. It just won't spin beyond the original verification check. I suspect, then, that creating an imaged copy of the game on a CD or DVD won't work because the way these games generally work is that there is some bit on the original game disc that won't copy, exactly to foil guys like you, Pikmin, who like to pirate games.

And Nevets, an imaged disc is actually a way to create copies of software. Rather than saving all the files and copy/pasting each file individually from a source to a destination, you can copy the source as a single image file and then burn that to a new disc. One file equals less mess and hassle. That's what Pikmin was referring to, not a disc label. (And the Key Master wags a finger at Pikmin, and says, "Be nice. Just because YOU know what something is doesn't mean everyone does.") :)

Well if you mean just putting a picture on the top side of a Compact Disk, then that won't work. The reason being is that the reader never sees the top, only what is encoded on the bottom. Now, if you could get a disk with the code on the bottom that tells the xbox that it is a certain game, then it could work, at least, that's how I understand it. But, you would be better off just buying the game.

so you cant choose load off disc only? if it is on your HDD it will use that data even if you dont want it to? and all the game has to do is detect the disc is there, so if it is badly scratched it will still work,,so does this open a possibility to rent a game, save it, then have an image of it on a disc so it loadS?

<transmission intercepted: 2553/07/24/0845 MT>
<decrypting; running server tracing spike>
<transmission source confirmed: Yankee88337, ONI/Section III/Beta-5>
<transmission decrypted>
<begin>:

 Yankee88337: I have two things to say. First, why the hell would the LG want control over two programs that are defunct? Second, I can't find solutions to your problems unless you tell me what they are.
Bravo90210: Alright, alright. Take it easy. From what I understand, Sierra Echo Hotel 5002 wants to start a fourth 'program' somewhere down the line. From what I can understand, it's mostly a glorified, super selective military school, only churning out Fours when the need arises. The problem with that is that she would have to reveal the existence of the Threes first. The other problem is making sure Echo44666 doesn't overstep his duties.
Yankee88337: Why does she need control of the 'programs' to do that?
Bravo90210: I don't know exactly. I have a file attached with some interesting information you may want to look at.
Yankee88337: Thanks. That reminds me, how did the UNSC manage to afford that second class of Twos?
Bravo90210: Fox Military Systems offered to pay for it. With all the "free with a catch" stuff they did for the UNSC, they probably saved the war. And I think they're the source of the info leak.
Yankee88337: How?
Bravo90210: Juliet Alpha 20101 had them participate in development of SPI. That's when the RAVEN was first introduced. My other reason is in the attached file.

<end>
<file attached. open(y/n)?> y
<decrypting file...>

SPARTAN-IIs not confirmed KIA (MIA/alive post 11-3-2552)
-Class of 2517-
Kurt-051: MIA
Linda-058: MIA
Maria-062: alive, retired
Kelly-087: MIA
Frederick-104: MIA
John-117: MIA, presumed KIA

-Class of 2537-
Cathy-327: alive, active

This is the first problem. Her transponder signal dropped off the grid after March this year. Last known location was in Colorado, USA. We believe Lt.Gen. Hartford is trying to get her discharged from the Navy and enlisted in the Marine Corps. We believe that is her main reason for trying to get ownership of the project shifted.

SPARTAN-IIIs not confirmed KIA
-Alpha Company-
All KIA during Operation PROMETHEUS

-Beta Company-
Lucy-B091: MIA
Matthew-B170: MIA in Operation TORPEDO, assumed KIA
Tom-B292: MIA

-Gamma Company-
STATUS UNKNOWN

Here is the other problem. Matthew is supposed to be dead, but we've recently seen his transponder pop up on the grid for a few minutes, then disappear again. This has happened several times, and quite frankly, I don't have a damn clue why. If he is alive, however, he may hold the answer to that damn leak.

<close file>
<sending copy of transmission to Nighthawk>
<attached note to copy: I don't like the way this is going. We'll keep monitoring, but we may need to terminate Bravo here soon. They've been pretty careless with their information, but I suppose their encryptions are well beyond civilian capabilities, and the only people they're used to listening in on their conversations are Section 0 spooks. Can't find anything on Echo44666. Sami out.>

Pikmin: You can, but I don't recommend it. Loads times are actually slower from the HDD, since Halo 3 is already optimized to use the console at optimum efficiency.
