I'm going with the flow here, seeing as lots of other people seem to have an intro thread.

Hello there! I'm HSAR, short for HyperSpace Advancements Research [and Development], although I rarely put in the last part. If you're here then chances are you already know me from my 16 Reclaimer Fan Fics, posted in the Fan Creations section of this forum - they're a little confusing at first but be sure to check them out!

I live on the other side of the pond from Jim, in lovely England. My real name is Shu Sam Chen (SSC), I'm going to be 15 in May, doing my GCSEs this academic year and the next, taking all the standard stuff with the additional choices of AS Economics, the FSMQ, Science 3x, the CiDA and GCSE German.

I don't generally do that much creativity in games, but write to my hearts content as a form of escapism. I love reading as well as writing, and enjoy fantasy, science fiction, mystery, adventure as well as any combination of the four.

I don't play a whole lot of Halo, but when I do I tend to set up a small, 2-3Xbox LAN party, with friends physically coming over to play.

In my spare time I also animate frame-by-frame Flash animations, and play around with other stuff in Flash as well. I have delved into stop-frame animation as well, a prototype of which can be seen on YouTube at this link:

I'm a great fan of Jim's, and love to talk with him about minor plot details (and the occasional major plot reveal) in my spare time for inclusion in Fan Fiction, but I'm always semi-frustrated by Jim's knowing smirks. ;D

I'm also currently working on a large Fan Fiction/short Reclaimer story, which I envision would end up about 5,000 words long and will have to be posted in various parts (I imagine). I've never tested the forum's character limit but will cross that bridge when I get to it.

Erm... that's about all I can think of.

HSAR started as a really early username that I've been using ever since - if elsewhere on the interwebs the name HSAR comes up, it's probably me.

Yep, England born and bred, me.

It's one of the McFarlane series of Halo 3 figures. There was a limited edition run of orange Hayabusa Spartans that was only available in Europe. They're highly sought after collectibles here in the US.

    HSAR...

    1) Which end of England?
    2) Have you seen the Unbeatable Banzuki adverts with Brian Blessed? (this will be apparent soon)
    3) How are you finding the German course? (I did it for GCSE too =] )

Actually it was the black Mark VI that was only available in Europe...the Orange Hayabusa was only available in GB and Australia at one chain. When they first came out they were selling for well over 200 bux

When does the next Special for Doctor Who come out, and when does the next season for Torchwood come out? I can't ever find any info for either of them here in Iowa...

Next Doctor Who special? Haven't a clue, but at the very least, there's always a new one every Christmas.

Torchwood... maybe check this? I confess I've been falling behind for Torchwood. I'm still in the middle of Season 2 :P
