Whew! Only just barely got this one done on time. Start tying those loose threads together!
I did a little bit of additional Photoshoppery magic to this edition to make the laser beams pop a bit more, since some of you complained that Friday’s wasn’t obvious enough.
Stay tuned to the blog this week. I’m hoping to push out the details for the next contest, and a way to win a free copy of Halo 3: ODST with the Sgt. Johnson unlock code.
A couple of things. The first is that there are just five days remaining in the Reclaimer Comic Contest, so time is running out to get your submissions turned in. Remember, you have until midnight (EDT) on Oct. 6 to get those comics emailed to me in order to be eligible for the prize package.
The second is that I whipped together an alternate version of today’s comic, which you can see below (click on the thumbnail to see the full-size version). I used a series of layers and filters to create a different style look for today’s page, and I’d like to get your feedback on it. If enough people like it, it may become the new look for Reclaimer. And if no one likes it, well, I still think it looks pretty awesome. Leave your comments and feedback below.
If you haven’t seen it already, I’ve finally gotten around to completing the much-requested HowTo Tutorial for making a Reclaimer comic. Make sure to take note of it, bookmark it, and read it carefully – because there just might a reason you’ll need to know how to make one or more comics in the very near future.
